Indie? a moze Tybet??:) zdecydowanie MALA LHASA:)

Dharamsala to mala miejscowosc polozona w gorach w prowincji Himachal Pradesh. Zdecydowanie przyjemniejsza, bardziej zielona, spokojniejsza i co ciekawe wiecej tu Tybetanczykow niz Hindusow:) A juz na pewno wiecej zagranicznych turystow, ktorych malo spotykalam w Iranie czy Pakistanie...Ale Indie to Indie- bardziej dostepne, bezpieczniejsze ale wciaz nieokielznane i codziennie zaskakujace!:)
Miasteczko to glowny osrodek tybetanskiej emigracji w Indiach i siedziba tybetanskiego rzadu na uchodzctwie. Mozna sie tu zdecydowanie poczuc jak w Tybecie- pelno mnichow w swoich pomaranczowo-zoltych szatach, do tego swiatynie buddyjskie i pelno suvenirow iscie tybetanskich. Nawet trafilysmy na DEBATE MNICHOW- codzienna czynnosc mnichow, ktorzy zazwyczaj w parach debatuja na rozne tematy, klaskaja przy tym w dlonie i probuja swojego rozmowce przekonac do swoich racji:) Cos niesamowitego (fotki soon:) Nic dziwnego, ze miasto nazywane jest MALA LAHASA.
Wyobrazcie sobie, ze nawet tutaj wspaniale funkcjonuje couchsurfing:) Elise- 20letnia Kalifornijka, ktora tu mieszka gosci backpackersow z calego swiata! Polka byla jej pierwszym gosciem:) Z Dominika mieszkamy u mamy chlopaka Elise- Marii- ktora jest pol Wloszka, pol Hinduska:))) Gosci nas w swoim pieknym domku w lesie z jej 2ma pieskami:) Otoczenie magiczne...A obecnie iscie monsunowa burza...a ja skryta w kafejce:))

We had to say good bye to Punjab and welcome to Himachal Pradesh! It is definitely cooler, more peaceful and more lush oh and rainY!:) But at the same time so refreshing! The bus ride took around 7h and the bus broke twice:) But we arrived to an amazing house just in the forest of Dharamsala! CS RULEZZZ! Elise- our californian host introduced us to her future mother-in-law (half Italian half-Hindu) and we are staying at her place. The location is just perfect- the forest, view of the valley and a stream next by...what can you ask more? Today we are going to have a dinner whith the whole family and some cs-ers:)
Dharamsala (or actually McLeod Ganj) is a small town where you actually feel like being in Tibet nor India. That is why it's usually called SMALL LHASA. The monks, temples and souvenirs straight from Tibet make you foget that you are actually in India. There are even wild monkeys living in the forest and of course cows are omnipresent on the streets of this country. The town is notable as the capital of the Central Tibetan Administration, a Tibetan government in exile led by Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th and current Dalai Lama. In a few days Dalai Lama is going to lead some lectures in which everyone can participate!
We could actually experience a so called monks' debate when 2 monks (one standing, one sitting) are talking/ debating on different subject during which they are clapping their hands and trying to persuade the other in their idea. One could observe them for hours and the only thing is that I wish I could understand them...
